Basic Structure (Always Same for Any Essay)

Total: 4 Paragraphs
• Introduction
• Body 1
• Body 2
• Conclusion

Introduction Template

Structure:
• Paraphrase the question
• Give your opinion (if needed)
• Outline your main points

Example:
Question: “Some people think the government should provide free education. Do you agree or disagree?”

Intro Sample:
Education plays a vital role in shaping a country’s future. While some believe it should be free for all, I strongly agree as it ensures equal opportunity and long-term social development.

Body Paragraph 1 Template

Structure:
• Topic sentence (main idea)
• Explanation
• Example

Example:
Firstly, free education promotes equality among citizens. When everyone can study regardless of financial background, it helps reduce poverty in the long run. For example, countries like Finland offer free education and have a highly skilled workforce.

Body Paragraph 2 Template

Structure:
• Second main idea
• Explanation
• Example

Example:
Secondly, free education benefits the nation’s economy. A more educated population contributes to innovation and development. For instance, graduates often create startups that generate jobs and boost the economy.

Conclusion Template

Structure:
• Restate opinion
• Summarize main ideas

Example:

Tips to Get Band 7+
1. Use linking words: Moreover, Therefore, However, Consequently
2. Use complex sentences naturally.
3. Always check grammar & word choice.
4. Stay on topic – don’t add irrelevant points.
